Issue 20: Manifestation
As we close another incredible year, we celebrate the artists and writers who inspire us to imagine more. It feels only right that this issue carries a theme just as magical. The Manifestation Issue is a testament to the power of intention.
I’m disordered and respected while my name is thrown in and out of my hands, my body observed without sensitivity even though I’ve laid my shirt down and given my life to be here. She* is well-developed and overweight, behavior cooperative while I’m told I have no choice but to wait and understand.
You may already know Latha Jay for her grounded and inspiring content about manifestation. We’re big fans and are so excited to have her answer some of our biggest questions about how manifestation becomes a tool for self-leadership, nervous system healing, and identity-level transformation.
Hope does not always shout. Sometimes it watches quietly, letting you find your way. Hopeful, I stand at the center of a world that feels both fragile and alive.
Issue 19 Death: Manifestation
It’s with solemn joy that we bring you our Death Issue. The work in these pages is not only a window into these artists’ souls, but also a mirror to our own grief.
They construct an altar to their fallen friend made of glittering 4Loko cans, passing around a single white lighter.
Her skin, nearly translucent, was the star’s enemy. Any blush registered within moments of the flare, though at the moment, none appeared.
Now grief follows me everywhere. It’s a stray dog at my heels. A ghost riding shotgun in my car. A second heartbeat, louder than my own.
Issue 18: Period
Every period is different, from person to person and even from month to month. We all have different relationships with our periods, and yet mainstream media wants to just show one part of the story and move on, silencing in the process the voices of many menstruating people.

Evolution is in part defined as a process of continuous change from a lower, simpler, or worse state to a higher, more complex, or better one. The work in this issue shows us that evolution is much more than that.
