Intro
With this issue we wanted to honor the way our plant relatives and ancestors elevate our lives. We knew we had to include Cannabis in the conversation for the way in which this polarizing plant can help us understand more in depth how our community is working on healing the ties between us and our plancestors despite the many ways in which colonialism has constantly tried to separate us from the ancestral knowledge and connection to nature. So, roll a joint, drink some tecito, or simply enjoy some fresh fruit while you fl ip through the amazing work in these pages. We hope that this issue helps us learn more about how these lost connections can be sewn back together when we intentionally seek to connect with nature herself.
